If you want to see beautiful, breathtaking photos, this album is not for you. I wanted to see what sort of pictures I could get on the ride to KC (...and I would like to point out that I-35 through Iowa is not the most scenic drive known to mankind).

Oatmeal
Non-morning people should not try new morning routines. I learned this the hard way. For some reason, I decided to eat breakfast first; for some dumber reason, I decided to have oatmeal. Cinnamon & brown sugar oatmeal.
Somewhere between the microwave and the counter, something went very wrong. Had I been fully awake, I could tell you what that was. Given that I wasn't even coherent enough to process what just happened, I struggled with deciding whether to clean it up or walk away and hope for a miracle.
I decided to take pictures.
Consider yourself warned. Oatmeal never looks attractive. It definitely is not pretty on my kitchen floor.

Fort Snelling on Memorial Day
My dad and I went to Fort Snelling National Cemetery this morning. Everyone should go there at least once.
